Barinas, May 26, 2023 (Mincomunas Press) – This Friday, the National Congress of People’s Power Direct Experiences Management was celebrated at the Polytechnic University of Barinas, with more than 100 spokespersons from Communal Councils and Communes in attendance.
In her speech, the president of the Foundation School for the People’s Power Strengthening, Lidice Altuve, informed that up to date: “They installed 13 Communal Cabinets in the state where the People’s Power has worked hand in hand with the Integration and Communication System (SINCO), we can as an institution continue to learn about the wisdom of the People’s Power and strengthen public policies”.
Next, Efrain Ortega, the Polytechnic University of Barinas rector, highlighted the importance of the People’s Power organization and the University’s technical training. He also mentioned there is feedback to deliver the knowledge of the social leaders as an empirical subject and systematization to put these skills into practice”.
During his participation, the People’s Power Minister for the Communes and Social Movements, Jorge Arreaza, said that “the People’s Power and the Government are engaged in the social struggle, and this is the most active and dynamic democracy that exists in the world because we are building the new and the Commune is the next step with this humanity and new methods to fulfill the objective of the Homeland.”
In social matters, the ministerial authority emphasized that “from the Communal Council we can add the greatest amount of wills for the Revolution, any Venezuelan is part of his Communal Council, the more people we incorporate, the more powerful the communal government will be to make the Simon Bolivar Government Project irreversible (…). To date, we have 665 projects loaded in the SINCO”.
Reinforcing this idea, the Vice Minister for Community and Social Organization and Participation, Cesar Carrero, pointed out that the key of this Congress “is to learn about the joint experiences embodied in SINCO to gather all this knowledge with the protagonists to systematize it and thus, improve public policies to make the administration of resources easier and to get the community more involved in the communal work.”
“This technological platform provides us with information from the people to make decisions and to be able to comply with the obedience power because everyone has a role and the Cabinets of Communal Government are the space where the four levels of government must meet (…). In these times, the People’s Power must make a qualitative leap in another sense, and that is to transform how society relates so that it changes with solidarity and brotherhood”, urged the Vice Minister.
Professor William Ramirez, for his part, reflected that “communal management breaks with the traditional model; that is its raison d’être, that is the spirit of the Commune and socialism. We cannot lose the country’s independence”.
Finally, Freiner Ramirez, community leader, stated that one thing is the Communal Council and another is the actors within the territory; “in our projects, we had the resounding support of the community, and that is thanks to the proposals of both the community and the support of the institutions.”
