Successful People’s Power management experiences are presented in Amazonas

Amazonas, May 25, 2023 (Mincomunas Press) – The Communal Councils and Communes of the state of Amazonas celebrated this Thursday the National Congress of Direct People’s Power Experiences, which allowed socialization of the communal and financial management of projects approved by the Federal Council of Government (CFG) through the Integration and Communication System (SINCO).

The meeting, which took place in the regional Comptroller’s Office conference room, included the mayor of the Atures municipality, Yamilet Mirabal; the Amazonas Indigenous Legislative Council president, legislator Delkis Bastidas; and the secretary of the regional government and coordinator of the Venezuela Bella Mission, Analí Herrera, among other authorities.

During the Congress, Luis Font, spokesman of the Bagre Communal Council, presented the community experience regarding the solution for the drinking water problem in his sector through the technical water table.

Kissi Amaro, state secretary of the Somos Venezuela Movement, highlighted the People’s Power design of the social cartography and the management maps in the entity.

“The main objective of the cartography is to represent in maps the communities, in different areas: political, social, economic, cultural, environmental; and to make a characterization of the communities to be able to propose government policies, plans and projects, not only of the government but also of the Popular Power, which will allow us to advance in the situation of the problems of each one of our communities”, she expanded.

On the other hand, Amaro highlighted the advantages offered by SINCO to the grassroots organizations of the People’s Power.

“The community spokesmen and spokeswomen must take ownership of this system since it is the only tool that exists to transfer resources and speed up social, service, and socio-productive projects,” he added.

The People’s Power experience

Manuel Antonio González, a spokesman of the Yorime Communal Council of the Uwottüjja people, thanked the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, for the trust to his community with the equipment of production tools, to 15 farmers. “Thank you for receiving our project and the execution; everything was excellent, in a very successful way, thanks to President Nicolas Maduro, may he continue to support us, and we will continue to support you with our products”.

Likewise, the spokesman Yorman Becerra explained the process from the decision-making with the Assembly of Citizens for the priority of the Santa Rosa Communal Council, through the coordination of its technical water table with institutions such as the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, the Federal Council of Government and the Amazonas Hydrological, to the consolidation of the project for the repair and expansion of the drinking water network, benefiting more than 30 families.

The Congress is the meeting place for spokesmen and spokeswomen of the Communal Councils and State institutions for the socialization and presentation of the People’s Power Direct Management Experiences projects.
