Government Expo shows the expansion of Communal Power as the new social culture

Caracas, April 14, 2023 (Press Mincomunas) This Friday, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of President Nicolas Maduro’s electoral victory, the “Expo Gobierno: Ten years of the Popular Victory as a symbol of loyalty to Commander Chavez” was set up at the Paseo Los Proceres in Caracas, where 36 stands show the achievements of the Bolivarian Government throughout this decade.

During the activity, the Head of State toured the stands displaying the ministerial achievements -and those of its affiliated entities- as well as a sheep, pig, and goat breeding directed to strengthen the country’s food sovereignty thanks to the social policies of the State hand in hand with the organized people.

“One of the elements to which we have dedicated work and effort is the expansion and consolidation of the People’s Power, of the Communal Councils, of the Communes, of the Communal Power. It is the soul of our democracy, freedom, and Socialist Revolution. Socialism in the territorial sphere [is] the Commander Chavez’s greatest contribution to the universal theory of Socialism,” asserted the President.

During his speech, broadcasted by VTV, President Maduro urged regional and local governments to exercise power with the People’s Power, “together with the Communes, with the ordinary man and woman; to empower more and more the people at the base.”

After Commander Hugo Chavez’s physical disappearance, President Maduro achieved his first electoral victory on April 14, 2013, in a presidential race with 7,505,338 votes counted, representing 50.66% of the total electoral roll.

During the installation of the “Government Expo: Ten Years of the Popular Victory as a Symbol of Loyalty to Commander Chavez,” extended until next Sunday, the Head of State learned from the people’s living voice about the achievements in education, housing, security, and food. The latter is relevant, with seven million Venezuelan families who benefit monthly thanks to the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP, in Spanish). Also, 1,230,000 land titles have been delivered to farm workers to continue promoting the Agri-Food Engine.
