Lara, October 20, 2022 (Press MinComunas) -During the working day, took place the official launching of the brand “Hecho en Comuna” (Made in Commune) led by President Nicolas Maduro, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the “Golpe de Timon” instructed by Commander Hugo Chavez on October 20, 2012, held in Lara State.
In this sense, the People’s Power Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Jorge Arreaza, showed the national leader some products packaged with the communal brand, such as pre-cooked corn flour, coffee, and chocolate.
“President, you approved the brand ‘Made in Commune,’ and we are going to make a great effort to certify the production truly made in the communal territory,” stressed Arreaza.
The head of state congratulated the production experiences within the communal economic circuits and the credits granted by the Banco Bicentenario del Pueblo (People’s Bicentennial Bank) to support these enterprises.
Within the new stage of transition towards socialism, President Maduro instructed the deep, impacting, and transforming review of all legislation and infrastructure established in the People’s Power laws at the level of the National Assembly and specially commissioned Minister Jorge Arreaza to follow up on this presidential mandate.
Law of Communal Quality Marks
In the field of the communal trademark and to guarantee to the creators, developers, and innovators of the communes’ economy their rights in terms of creation, research, effort, and work, the Sub-Commission of Innovation of the National Assembly (AN) and the People’s Power Ministry for the Communes and Social Movements are evaluating the proposal of a Law of Communal Quality Trademarks and Collective Trademarks.
This week, on Tuesday, there was a meeting on this topic with the participation of Deputy Miguel Perez Abad, President of this parliamentary instance; Hernan Jose Vargas Perez, Vice Minister of Communal Economy and Lusmialit Perdomo Torrealba, Vice Minister for the Development of Women. During the meeting, they exchanged ideas about the relevant points to include in this draft bill.
For Perez Abad, the legislator’s and the National Executive’s spirit is to prioritize the protection, defense, and visualization of the industrial property of the actors that make life in the Communal Councils, collectively-owned companies, and other forms of social organization.
