Caracas, September 12, 2022. (Press.MinComunas)- In compliance with the guidelines of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, the Communal Councils advance in the democratization process by renewing their leadership.
Jesus Garcia, spokesman of the Socialist Commune Altos de Lidice in Caracas, emphasized this on Monday during the “Café en la Mañana” program on Venezolana de Television (VTV).
He explained that thanks to the policies promoted by the People’s Power Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Jorge Arreaza, the spokespersons of Communal Councils, is renewing and certifying every week to improve the Commune’s functioning.
“Many of the actions implemented in the territory weren’t possible without organizing each one of the instances of communal self-government. We must remember that the Commune is the possibility of building the new government, the constituent power to create the alternative”.
The communal leader stated they are working with an agenda to develop plans of action in the territory and to promote the necessary projects to improve the life quality of the inhabitants of the different communities.
“The Ministry of Communes and the Ministry of Planning are encouraging an Action Plan and a Map of Solutions. This plan must come from the community itself, which is the one that knows, suffers, and suffers the problems in all areas.”
Finally, he detailed that in the Altos de Lidice Commune, they are developing a productive experience of industrialization of the neighborhoods, framed as requested by President Maduro in the recycling process as part of the fifth historical objective and the re-promotion of the Social Property Companies (EPS).
