Caracas, August 5, 2022 (Press MinComunas) – Thanks to the 3R. Nets system results, the Bolivarian Government has promoted the creation of the Communal Economic Circuits to recognize the production work carried out by the Popular Power, as well as to guarantee the distribution of its products in the point and circle of the territory.
This assertion was made by the Vice Minister of Communal Economy of the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Hernan Vargas, during a telephone interview in the program “Via Alterna” conducted by journalist Isbemar Jimenez on Radio Nacional de Venezuela (RNV).
“The idea is that small enterprise and Family Production Units (UPF) have the necessary resources so that they are in charge of the production, collection, distribution, and commercialization of their products, without the need of intermediaries that increase the price of costs.”
The Vice Minister reaffirmed that the intention is to support and recognize the level of resistance of the people, who, in the crisis, continued producing and working to strengthen the country’s economy. “This is a major leap, where we must activate planning tables. For example, in the textile branch, to define the circuits that meet the needs within the communities themselves.”
Local production increased
Vargas emphasized that the popular organization has made it possible to increase production in different communities and local spaces since it has ensured that the intermediaries stopped guaranteeing during the blockade and persecution.
“It is important to highlight that it has been possible to support the distribution in schools located in rural and urban communities through the People to People Plan. These new direct means must be visible, supported, and chained, to end this rentier economy logic where intermediation is the rule”.
Five thousand Communal Councils are renewing their spokespersons
Regarding the renewal of the spokespersons of the Communal Councils, the Vice Minister explained that this process is occurring at a national level; so that the current 49 thousand Communal Councils choose the spokesmen and spokeswomen that will represent them in this new era.
“75% of the Communal Councils need to be renewed. Up to this moment, about 10 percent, that is, about 5 thousand Communal Councils, are active in the nomination process for the new spokespersons and organizing their Electoral Board, hand in hand with the National Electoral Council (CNE), to guarantee this level of Venezuelan democracy, participatory, protagonist and communal”.
He specified that the law states that the highest instance of the Communal Council is the Assembly of Citizens. From there, they must define the authorities that will represent the Electoral Board. Likewise, to establish some basic figures, such as the Management, Administration, Planning, and Comptrollership Unit, for them to work with the Working Committees of the Communal Council to solve and provide answers in the areas of water, education, health, production, roads, energy, sports, and culture, among others.
The Vice Minister emphasized that the Communal Integration System (SINCO) of the Federal Council of Government is currently available, which allows the Communal Councils to be updated and registered online without needing intermediaries.
“The registration is direct, much faster, and is a distinctive tool of the Bolivarian Revolution, which strengthens the government in the territory,” he complimented.
