Caracas, December 09, 2023 (Mincomunas Press) – From December 9 to 11, the first Hachathon will take place in Caracas. It is a multiformat, multidisciplinary device that makes it possible to accelerate creative, administrative, political, and technical qualification, marketing, and exchange processes to consolidate the Communal Economic Circuits (CEC) and the Communal Economic Zones (ZEC) throughout the country.
This activity, organized by the People’s Power Ministry for Communes and Social Movements through its Vice-Ministry of Communal Economy along with the Communes of the country, seeks to promote the processes linked to the alternative productive value chains developed internally by each CEC.
The Vice-Minister of Communal Economy, Hernan Vargas, highlighted that the event was conceived in response to the guidelines of President Nicolas Maduro to strengthen the communal economy during the celebration of the 11th anniversary of the “Golpe de Timon”(Rudder Around).
It is worth mentioning that the installation of HACHAton involved 204 community members who have been promoting 67 CECs in the areas of corn, rice, tubers, vegetables, vegetables, fruits, sugar cane, leguminous plants, coffee, cocoa, animal husbandry, dairy, fishing, tourism, and textiles. These CECs aggregate about 231 Communes, 1240 Communal Councils, and 11 thousand producing families.
Likewise, the Hachathon seeks to speed up productive processes in several stations that translate into hacks to bureaucracy, which are the following: Permits and procedures, Identity packaging and branding, Communal Banking, economic planning, management of industrial Plants, business roundtable, maintenance of Communal Transportation, management of communal stores, communicational tools and management models.
The event has the support of 120 public servants from the Ministries of Commerce (Sencamer), Agriculture (Insai, INTI), Finance (Seniat), Industries (Corpivensa, Corsoauto), Communes and Banco Bicentenario, who are working to achieve solutions in each of their areas of competence, to see how to adjust a plan that promotes the results that the President has proposed in the “Golpe de Timon” (Rudder Around).
