Caracas, December 2, 2023 (Mincomunas Press) – This Saturday, as part of the cooperation program of the Political Strategic Alliance between the Landless Movement (MST) of Brazil and the Venezuelan People’s Power Ministry for Communes and Social Movements, Joao Pedro Stédile, one of the founders of the MST, visited the Technology Park and the Karicuao Karibe Farm School, located in Caracas, to learn about the productive and organizational experiences.
The Deputy Minister of Social Movements, Fernando Rodriguez, explained that since 2019, a group of young people have been performing important productive works in the Agro ecological Farm School, where they are also using the spaces to classify and recycle solid waste.
“During the meeting, the different industrial levels of the organization and the cooperative system were shown, in addition to exchanging experiences, weaknesses, and opportunities with the comrades of the Landless Movement of Brazil, to compile the political and organizational work of the People’s Power.”
The Vice Minister said that the Communal Councils and Communes also showed their organizational processes to promote solidarity exchange and socio-productive projects for the use of solid wastes.
