Rafael Bautista: Capitalism is at its point of no return

Caracas, October 23, 2023 (Mincomunas Press) – For Bolivian professor and philosopher Rafael Bautista, capitalism is an economy that destroys the base that makes its growth possible because that base is not infinite. It is finite. Therefore, if it destroys the base that makes its viable development, it will reach a point of no return.

“Modern politics is the secularization of a theology of domination. Modern politics is a politics of domination because it responds to a project whose logic of domination proposes domination to infinity; therefore, it is suicidal like capitalism,” said the researcher Bautista.

The Bolivian philosopher Rafael Bautista indicated that capitalism is at its point of no return, and this is something that 1% of the world’s trillionaires are aware of.

“According to them, we cannot share the world, and with the post-industrial paradigm, they no longer wish to integrate more social mass into the economic system. The 1% of humanity, the trillionaires of the planet, who say that we cannot share the world and have artificial intelligence as their administrative standard can only get rid of the “leftovers” of humanity, which is not useful to their project,” said the thinker.

The Bolivian professor Rafael Bautista pointed out that “the world is in a dramatic transition because it has not been able to transcend the horizon of expectations that the modern world and capitalism itself have proposed.”
