Caracas, September 21, 2023 (Mincomunas Press) – Footwear and textile producers of the Communal Economic Textile Circuit of Miranda, La Guaira, and the Capital District held a meeting to define the production lines and products that this nationwide circuit will incorporate in the catalog of the Hecho en Comuna (Made in Commune) brand.

During the meeting in Caracas, they also identified the spaces for commercialization and the criteria and routes for the catalog elaboration.

In this sense, they agreed to include products such as flannel with prints to highlight the national identity and the productive activity of the Communal Economic Circuits in the catalog.

They also agreed to include cotton garments, such as overalls, chemises, shirts, sweaters, pants, and socks.

The textile entrepreneurs will make two more catalogs later with lingerie, footwear, and leather goods.

To summarize, the meeting participants agreed to generate a catalog for printing, another virtual catalog, and the production of approximately 2,000 pieces to supply the Communal Textile Basket to share with the other productive circuits of the Communes.

They will soon visit fabric production companies to determine more accurate costs and lower product prices.
