Monagas, June 29, 2023 (Mincomunas Press) – This Thursday, as part of the Communal Planting Plan 2023, representatives of the People’s Power Ministry for Communes and Social Movements delivered a set of agricultural inputs to the Villa Jagüey Communal Council in the state of Monagas.
The People’s Power spokespersons received seeds, fertilizers, and agrochemicals to continue boosting this important territory’s production apparatus. Likewise, they delivered financing to eleven Community Councils from different state municipalities.
In this context, the spokeswoman Yeysi Salazar, from the Santa Rosalia Communal Council, stated that thanks to the Integration and Communication System (Sinco), it was possible to load the projects and receive the necessary financing to promote the Sowing Plan.
“We have improved the economy of the sector but also the family economy. We are very grateful to the authorities because they have listened to the people of Monagüense,” he said.
Likewise, the spokeswoman Yuralsi Hernandez, from the Commune La Espada de Bolivar, pointed out that thanks to the installation of the communal cabinets, timely answers have been given to the needs of the Communes of the municipalities of Ezequiel Zamora, Santa Barbara, and Maturin.
Meanwhile, Ana Fuentes, mayor of the municipality of Maturin, highlighted that “the People’s Power of Monagas has been organized in the territory and is producing to carry out the productive policies led by President Nicolas Maduro.”
Economic Development
The governor of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, who has lived in the country’s difficult times, the active participation of the Communes, Communal Councils, Social Movements, and People’s Power organized, enabled the development and promotion of the nation’s economy.
“As Commander Hugo Chavez said in 2006, the Bolivarian Revolution is heading towards socialism, towards the new State (…), resources and competences are being transferred to the Popular Power, so that they are the ones who execute the policies regarding public services, health, education, and housing, all from their territory”, added the regional president.
