Caracas, June 8 (Press Mincomunas) – During the closing of the National Congress of Direct People’s Power Management Experiences, President Nicolas Maduro approved the resources and all the financial support for 2000 new projects of Communal Councils and Communes throughout the country.”Things can be done. You have to put love, intelligence, good planning. That is why 2,000 new projects have come into my hands for this year 2023, and I have approved all the financing for these initiatives that arose in the heat of direct democracy, of real popular planning”, he pointed out this Thursday from the Rios Reyna Hall of the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas.Likewise, the Venezuelan President insisted on guaranteeing the resources for the different communal councils’ production “based on planning.”He pointed out that communal power, hand in hand with the National Executive, build collective welfare through innovative solutions and alternatives to improve the conditions of the communities throughout the Venezuelan territory.During the closing ceremony, President Maduro ratified his initiative to promote the definitive expansion of communal power, direct democracy, and the power of the majorities.”Every day, there is something new to do, and we do it; and it is done by the leadership of every neighborhood, hamlet, and village in Venezuela,” he added.Governors and mayors must work with the people’s powerOn the other hand, the President urged governors and mayors throughout the country to work together with the people’s power grassroots organizations.”When will those who have not realized it opens their eyes and see that power belongs to the people? We have to build the new social State, of justice, of law, the new democratic State; we have to build the community force of the people, the power of the base, the direct democracy and empower the organized people, the organized community, empower the people more and more”, he added. In the legislative field, the Venezuelan President signed the enactment of the Reform of the Organic Law of the Social Comptrollership. The regulation strengthens the relations of the people’s power to fight corruption from the management of the communes.The National Congress of Direct Management Experiences of the People’s Power through the Integration and Communication System (SINCO) of the Federal Council of Government took place from May 20 throughout the Venezuelan territory.
