Guarico, May 27, 2023 (Mincomunas Press) – From Valle de la Pascua, “Princess of the Plains” in Guarico, communities from all over the state explained how they materialized 75 social, socio-productive, and service projects to improve their life quality, during the National Congress of People’s Power Direct Experiences of Management.
This state, located in the nation’s center, characterizes by cattle raising and agricultural activities, but its people are also known for their kindness and service. And, above all, good food, which is why cooperation and joint work among its inhabitants is not difficult.
This Saturday, the People’s Power organized showed its capacity to solve problems and manage resources efficiently as part of its territorial empowerment.
There were 58 Communal Councils at the National Congress of People’s Power Direct Experiences of Management at the Polytechnical Territorial University of the Plains (UPTLI) “Juana Ramirez” where national and regional authorities attended the event.
This experience concentrated all the projects and organizations’ spokespersons that received financing in 2022 through the Federal Council of Government (CFG) to tell with their voices how was the administration work of those resources. To express that before, during, and after what it means to make government in their communities, explained the Vice Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Cesar Carrero.
Success in Commune
Biomar Ortuño, a spokesperson for the Communal Council of La Trinidad, explained the execution of a sewage project through the installation of 230 meters of straight pipe to eradicate this problem that affected 530 families in the sector.
“This guarantees that, at least in the winter period, we will not have water collapse problems in our community. Thanks to the Federal Government Council, 123,000 million bolivars were approved for the benefit of all these families”, he highlighted.
David Mendoza, a representative of the Revolutionary Commune of the East in the Jose Felix Ribas municipality, informed us they were funded with the Sowing Plan last year. But thanks to the reinvestment of their profits they executed two additional projects.
“One of street lighting that was a social contribution of our producers to our Commune made jointly in citizens’ assembly,” he said.
Mariuli Garcia, from Pan de Azucar Palito Solo Communal Council, pointed out that her project to expand the aqueduct pumping system for the sector’s hamlets was developed in a record time of three months.
“It was a success, now, I am living this wonderful experience with all the spokespersons of these communities, and I am grateful because we also learn from others,” she said.
The participants agreed that they achieved their objective to answer to the communities and offer a better quality of life.
Also present were the national director of the Federal Council of Government, Guy Vernaez; Jhoanna Carrillo, national secretary of the Somos Venezuela Movement and the mayor of the Leonardo Infante municipality, Ramon Piñango.
