Yaracuy, May 24, 2023 (Press Mincomunas) – This Wednesday, the auditorium of the Aristides Bastidas Yaracuy Territorial Polytechnic University (UPTYAB) in the Independencia municipality was the scenario of the National Congress of the People’s Power Direct Experiences Management, Yaracuy chapter, under the organization and direction of the Ministry of Communes and Social Movements.
The activity was attended by national, state, and regional authorities, among them Vice-Minister Fernando Rodríguez; the Secretary of Government of Yaracuy, Juan Torrealba; mayors and representatives of the Federal Council of Government, the Somos Venezuela Movement, the Venezuela Bella Mission, Aguas Yaracuy and Corpoelec. Regional legislators also attended the event.
On this occasion, the municipalities Arístides Bastidas, Bolívar, Bruzual, Cocorote, Jose Antonio Paez, San Felipe, Peña, and Urachiche participated with 14 projects financed by the Federal Council of Government. The principal spokespersons of the Communal Councils presented their communal cartography and models. More than 130 people participated in this event.
Vice Minister Fernando Rodriguez stated that the Federal Council of Government, the regional and municipal governments, and the People’s Power developed this type of meeting experience during the last few years. In the Congress, it was possible to visualize the Communal Councils and Communes promoting projects about services, production, and social projects from their territory.
Yecenia Lopez, director of the People’s Power Ministry for the Communes and Social Movements and the Federal Council of Government in the entity, emphasized that the important thing of this Congress is to highlight those technological tools made available to the People’s Power as the Integration and Communication System (SINCO).
The projects executed in the different municipalities are white water, sewage, electrification, and socio-productive.
Lopez emphasized the benefits of SINCO; and explained the steps to follow for the project uploads.
Finally, three Communal Councils were chosen to represent the National Congress. In the area of public services, the Community Council of Las Tejitas, from the Cocorote Municipality, was chosen for a drinking water project.
In the social area, the Las Ascencion Community Council, sector 3, was chosen with a rehabilitation plan for the San Felipe municipality ambulatory.
And in the socio-productive area, the Community Council of Buenos Aires, in the municipality of Urachiche, with a maintenance project of 30 hectares of coffee.
