President commemorates the 24th Anniversary of the Bolivarian Revolution

Caracas, February 02, 2023 (Presidential Press Office) – The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, commemorates the 24th Anniversary of the Bolivarian Revolution on the occasion of a visit to the “Government Expo 2023”, where the achievements and progress of the Government shown in 34 stands.

From the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas, the Venezuelan Head of State, together with the top officials of the country’s ministries, confirms the fruits of the public policies implemented by each government office and the benefits they have brought in favor of the Venezuelan people.

Twenty-four years ago, Commander Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias was sworn in as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, an opportunity in which he swore to transform the country through a constituent process, thus laying the foundations of a new inclusive and protagonist social model.

His visionary character promoted the emergence of a Magna Carta that has made it possible to focus on social issues, generating relevant balances in the redistribution of wealth and dynamizing the active participation of the people in each of the public policies designed in the Nation.

The Executive Vice-President of the Republic and People’s Power Minister for Economy, Finance, and Foreign Trade, Delcy Rodriguez, as Mervin Maldonado, Sectoral Vice-President for Social and Territorial Socialism and People’s Power Minister for Youth and Sports joined President Nicolas Maduro.

Also present are Yelitze Santaella, People’s Power Minister for Education; Magaly Gutiérrez, People’s Power Minister for Health; Carlos Leal Tellería, People’s Power Minister for Food; Ildemaro Villarroel, People’s Power Minister for Habitat and Housing; Jorge Arreaza, People’s Power Minister for Communes and Social Movements; and Rodolfo Marcos Torres, People’s Power Minister of Water.

Also attending as part of the executive train are Raul Alfonzo Paredes, People’s Power Minister for Public Works; Carmen Melendez, Mayor of the Libertador municipality; Nahum Fernandez, Head of the Government of Caracas and Spokespersons of the People’s Power, who will make up the Social Brigades.
