The road to Venezuela’s 21st century lies in the working class

Miranda, January 17, 2022 (Presidential Press Office) – “To anyone who wants to try to find an explanation. Why, in these 33 years of rebellion, re-foundation, resistance, and rebirth, have our people marked the 21st-century path in Venezuela? Just listen to the words of the working class.”

In this way, the Head of State, Nicolas Maduro, highlighted “the consciousness, the patriotic quality, the revolutionary quality of the working class” while listening to the productive advances achieved by the workers of the Portuguesa Complex, S.A. (COPOSA), in Acarigua, State of Portuguesa, despite the economic war.

The company provides 2 million 500 thousand cooking oil units to the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP). The governor of the state, Antonio Primitivo Cedeño, said in a television broadcast that the company is at 70% of its maximum production capacity.

For his part, President Maduro congratulated the country’s workers and reiterated the capacity of each man and woman who know the enemies of the homeland and the path laid out by the Bolivarian Revolution.

“We know where the impostors and demagogues are. We know where the enemies of Venezuela are. We know where those who sell the homeland are. Do not be deceived. The path of the homeland is only one: peace, production, prosperity, the rebirth of Venezuela, of the spiritual, material, and productive forces of our homeland,” he stressed.

The president said these words during the closing ceremony of the IV Congress of the Working Class, celebrated this Tuesday in the state of Miranda.
