Caracas, September 12, 2022 (Prensa MinComuna) – On Monday, Cesar Carrero, Vice Minister for Communal and Social Organization and Participation reaffirmed that around 5 thousand Communal Councils started the renewal process of their spokespersons in Venezuela.
During an interview in the Sin Duda program hosted by journalist Mary Pili Hernandez in the Unión Radio circuit, Carrero highlighted the people’s acceptance of the renewal process of their spokespersons.
“We observed an important participation, joyful and enthusiastic in a process intended to strengthen the participatory and protagonist democracy,” he highlighted.
The Vice Minister elaborated that the Communal Councils must have data or a census before the process. Likewise, he indicated that a promoter team of the Communal Council must make a call to the Assembly of Citizens, and then the Electoral Commission is elected, which will count on the accompaniment and logistic support of the National Electoral Council (CNE).
“The accompaniment of the CNE is essential. It is an instance that regulates the electoral processes. The Electoral Commission of the Communal Council governs the process, and the CNE endorses it”, he emphasized.
Likewise, Carrero explained that through the People’s Power Ministry for Communes and Social Movements website: www.mincomunas.gob.ve, you could find all the registration, legalization, and digital validation data using the QR code.
“It is also validated online with the auditable QR code,” he stated. In addition, he said that there is a step-by-step instruction as a guide for the Communal Councils.
Deputy Minister Carrero reiterated that the spokespersons elected in these renewal processes must start their management building their Solutions Map and the Concrete Action Agenda, in coordination with the national, regional, and municipal governments, to solve the needs present in their territory.
