Carabobo, August 12, 2022 (Press MinComunas) – On Friday, during a working day in the state of Carabobo, the People’s Power Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Jorge Arreaza, announced the transfer of a module of Fundacomunal. Also, one of Mercal (Ministry for Food) to the Tacarigua Guerreras Commune, in the municipality of Guacara, in compliance with the instruction of President Nicolas Maduro, that they advance towards self-government.
In an assembly with the community, he pointed out the determination of the entire national Executive to make the Commune the strategic objective of the whole revolutionary Government system, from President Maduro to the communal spokesperson. “We have to understand that the socialism that Commander Chavez proposed is in the territory, from the Communal Council and the Commune.”
He insisted that the Communal Councils and the Commune are as much a government as the Mayor, the Governor, and the President of the Republic, especially if they are organized. He stressed the importance of the citizens’ assemblies as the heart of the communal power, in which they must renew the spokespersons to have legitimized bases.
Minister Arreaza also referred to the economic circuits, stating that they must be purely communal to begin, to have their production, collection, and transportation capacity, and the state must participate as buyers. He also called for the incorporation of “the youth, the social movements, because we are all part of the territory.”
Spokesman Alexis Gonzalez shared the experience of empirically building the Map of Solutions and the Concrete Action Agenda, according to President Maduro’s instruction of the 1×10 method of Good Governance. He highlighted as strengths of the Commune Tacarigua Warriors the organization of the People’s Power through the assemblies, in which they seek solutions to critical issues and self-management.
The spokeswoman Yuri Farfan expressed that their strategy is “to work hand in hand with the mayor and the governor and to teach them as governors that from the People’s Power we can manage, plan, organize and help, through self-management. It is the organized and conscious people”.
