Caracas, August 8, 2022 (Presidential Press Office) – “We are going to hold sectorial congresses in all the states of the 58 social movements with which the Congress of the New Era is born, and between October and November, we will be holding the National Congress”.
With these words, the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, announced the beginning of a day of debate throughout the national territory for the social movements to expose criticisms and proposals aimed at the people’s social, economic, and political life advancement and improvement.
“I wish to receive your proposals, so you tell me what to do, how and where to do it. Make your criticisms, proposals and that we articulate the popular wisdom with the art of the Government by obeying, listening, and working together with the people”, he said during the plenary of the Congress of the New Era at the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas.
Along these lines, Maduro urged social movements to join, strengthen and articulate the 1×10 of Good Governance; as a method to address the problems that have worsened due to the blockade and coercive measures imposed on our country.
In addition, he called to defend the truth of Venezuela by giving the communication battle in the streets, social networks, and conventional media.
