Miraflores Palace, Caracas – Under a civic-military unity perspective, the Popular Brigades were born to guarantee the complete repair of structures dedicated to providing education and health services, announced the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro.
“We are going to constitute hundreds of Popular Brigades for education, for health in union with the Popular Power and the military power, the civic-military union in concrete terms,” he stressed during a meeting with the Council of Sectorial Vice Presidents.
From the Miraflores Palace, located in Caracas, he emphasized that the creation of the Popular Brigades stems from the priority areas of the 1×10 of Good Governance, which includes the Map of Solutions and the Concrete Action Agenda (ACA) to respond to the main demands of the population.
“In the health scenario, I call on the communal councils, the People’s Power, the Health Committee, and in the case of education. I call on the Bolivarian Movement of Families, the Bolivarian Organization of Students and, the Venezuelan Federation of High School Students, the teachers, the community so that we go to the constitution of Popular Brigades for health and education”, he urged.
The Head of State detailed that the rehabilitation of the infrastructure of the National Public Health System will focus -in the first stage- on Barrio Adentro I and II based on the National Health Plan, and as a result of the critical knots exposed by the people through the 1X10 system of the Good Government.
In this regard, he stressed that “we must thank our people who have joined the 1×10 of Good Government”, which deepened the connection between the National Government and the problems of Venezuelan communities.
