Falcon state, November 3, 2023 (Press MinComunas) – This Thursday, an extended communal cabinet took place in the Central Public Library “Andres Bello,” to expand, develop, and strengthen the training to consolidate the People’s Power in Coro Falcon state, which allowed establishing agreements to reinforce the Communal Government and to vindicate the training among the organized communities.
The Vice Minister of the Communal Training System and Social Movements, Lidice Altuve, and representatives of Fundacite, DGP, DPG, UPTAG, Movimiento de Abogados (Lawyers’ Movement), UBC, Inces, Sunacoop, SPPC, SPS, Fundacomunal, Ministry of Agriculture and Lands, and Ministry of Urban Agriculture, participated in the cabinet, articulating and integrating different visions and methods to approach in the communities where there are institutions with training competences.
The meeting became a space where they agreed to vindicate the state plan and the Training Route through different actions such as the activities in the Communal Councils about the appropriation of the Organic Law of the Communal Councils (LOCC), the dissemination of the Booklet “People’s Power Route” and the conformation of the Committees that reinforce the Communal Councils, which will support the promotion of participative and protagonist democracy.
At the same time, the expanded cabinet allowed the institutions’ spokespersons to discuss proposals to generate new spaces for systematization and articulation of experiences, such as work tables to share contents and programs of technical, socio-productive, and socio-political training; meetings to deepen the area of “educommunication,” and the promotion of a system of trainers for trainers.
Community Councils participate in training about the Esequibo
In the “Casa Adulto Mayor” of the Cruz Verde area, belonging to the Socialist Commune Élida Bustillo, the seminar “Esequibo is Venezuela” took place, where members of 14 Communal Councils participated and learned, through the presentation of the historian and facilitator Magger Suárez, a historical and legal analysis of the legitimate right of Venezuela for the claim of the Esequibo.
Vice Minister Lidice Altuve, on her part, reaffirmed the commitment of the communal men and women in defense of peace and sovereignty of the homeland and stressed the importance of the training processes and implementation of work strategies in the cabinets, which will lead to the integration of different entities in this matter.
Strengthening of the Communal Councils through the Committees
As part of the agenda, there was also a meeting in the Santa María urbanization, belonging to the Socialist Commune Vanguardia Revolucionaria of the Miranda municipality, where the spokespersons of seven Communal Councils received instructions from the director of the School for the People’s Power Strengthening, Jonathan Bautista, who, in turn, outlined the importance of the appropriation of the LOCC for the consolidation of a government system in which the Communal Councils are the ones to exercise the functions of the Communal Government.
In addition, Vice Minister Altuve emphasized that the Training Route aims at strengthening the Committees that make up the Communal Councils, which make possible the People’s Power governance for the resolution of the needs of their communities.
