Caracas, June 8, 2023 (Press Mincomunas) – The People’s Power Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Jorge Arreaza, during his speech at the closing ceremony of the National Congress of Direct People’s Power Management Experiences, assured that territorial socialism is a strategic rule of the Bolivarian Government.
From the Teresa Carreño Theater’s Rios Reyna Hall, the Minister pointed out that “the level of government building territorial socialism is the one that Commander Chavez dreamed of and that President Maduro maintains as a strategic norm.”
Likewise, he highlighted the organizational skills and courage of the community members to face the blockade imposed by the US government and overcome adversities.
In this sense, the Minister of Communes and Social Movements assured that “in the face of the sanctions, they (the Communes) organized themselves, legitimized themselves, and are executing projects to satisfy the collective needs and social rights of their communities.”
Arreaza detailed the Congress took place nationwide based on the experience of one thousand projects executed in 2002, which addressed public services issues such as electrification, water canalization, social infrastructure, and health”.
“In each state, there were some advisors, and the best experiences of the country are here,” he said while highlighting the experience of the Falcón Hydrological Plant, which was not in use, and the Communal Council requested resources, “and after 14 years of many irregularities in the service, the water is starting to flow”.
Arreaza celebrated the role of the Federal Council of Government, which offers a transparent, direct system, without intermediaries, without corruption, where projects are charged and executed.
“You directly upload the projects of your Concrete Action Agenda, the most sensitive ones, and they are executed directly from the concrete reality,” he said.
