Caracas, May 20, 2023 (Press Mincomunas) – This Saturday, the National Congress of People’s Power Direct Management Experiences, Caracas chapter, took place in the spaces of the People’s Power Ministry for Ecosocialism, in the towers of El Silencio.
Cesar Carrero, Vice Minister for Community and Social Organization and Participation, was in charge of the installation along with the Vice Minister of University Management, Iroschima Vazquez; the Executive Secretary of the Federal Council of Government, Guy Vernaez; the Executive Secretary of the Somos Venezuela Movement, Johana Carrillo; the Director of Community Projects of the Venezuela Bella Mission, Maria Flores, and the protagonist participation of the Communes and Community Councils that make life in the Capital District.
During the installation, the Vice Minister explained that the Communal Integration System (Sinco) “is a technological tool that allows gathering all those experiences that the community is constantly generating, and can be systematized in a single place so that those who build national government policies have that input from the communities directly without intermediaries and that the communication is immediate with the popular organizations.”
On her part, Vice Minister Iroschima Vazquez highlighted that with the congress development, they are fulfilling one of Commander Chavez’s dreams, which was to marry the Alma Mater with the People’s Power. “The universities must link directly with the territory to obtain a concrete result and be able to solve any problem that affects the community. That is to say, the popular organization and the university are fundamental for the local and national development of the country.”
Meanwhile, the head of Somos Venezuela highlighted that with the Sinco system, they could categorize and characterize any problems that can sometimes be solved by self-management.
“It is necessary to recognize the power in the territory and understand that together we can achieve things. Our territory and the Communes are our bridge to permanent life, but only if we have the knowledge, the empowerment in the territory, if we are willing to demonstrate the experiences, and if the institutions break the bureaucracy and believe more in the Popular Power”, asserted Carrillo.
Guy Vernaez, from the Federal Council of Government, stated that the Congress is a response on stage to show the President and everyone not only the risks and needs of the communities; “the interesting thing about this congress is that the university in its academic space can express that which is a collective experience, not individual, it is an opportunity to show and make visible the experiences that can be achieved with work and collective organization.”
Beautifying the spaces
During the Congress development, the representative of the Venezuela Bella Mission assured that the meeting allows making known what the management of the organized people has been.
Likewise, she affirmed that “the Venezuela Bella Mission is at everyone’s disposal to continue articulating and promoting the beautification of the communal spaces.”
Finally, a spokeswoman of the Communal Council El Despertar del Polvorin, Hayle Reyes, called to continue working organized. “As People’s Power, it is indispensable to organize ourselves and continue convincing the communities that there is no other place than the Commune where we will be able to achieve socialism.”
The National Congress of Direct Experiences of Management of the Popular Power will be held simultaneously throughout the country from May 20 to 28. Its purpose is to provide a meeting space between the spokespersons of the Communal Councils and State institutions to deliberate and socialize the successful experiences of communal management and continue strengthening the People’s Power in the territory.
