Carayaca was the epicenter of a community dialogue for the defense of Essequibo

La Guaira, November 29, 2023 (Mincomunas Press) – With the premise of unity, there was an enriching discussion on the Essequibo Guayana led by the Vice-Minister of Communal Economy, Hernan Vargas, this Wednesday in Carayaca, La Guaira state.

This event gathered representatives of communities, CLAP, militias, UBCH, and social movements. Everyone united in a frank dialogue on the challenges faced by the popular force given the December 3 referendum.

Vargas detailed it was a fervent exchange of ideas in which the discussion process in assembly, the house-to-house work, and they debated the essential motivations that incited to vote in defense of Venezuela’s sovereignty.

“It was much more than a discussion. It was a meeting where the organized community outlined strategies to assume a fundamental role in this stage of the process, strengthening the communal government in search of national unification around the collective interests of Venezuelans”, shared the Vice Minister.

In an atmosphere of cooperation and commitment, they discussed the historical challenges faced by the country due to the territorial claim as the perspectives for the collective future.

The meeting highlighted the importance of the active participation of the communities in the construction of a collective destiny marked by unity and the identification of the values that unite all Venezuelan citizens.
